Every day can be customized, and the gear is already in the building: a studio teleprompter with operator, Shure SM7 podcast mics, wireless lavs, a live switcher for multi-camera and streaming, and confidence monitors for talent. Campaigns and multi-shoot content programs are scoped on a free discovery call and land as one fixed written estimate.

On location or on the stage

The stage is the base, not the boundary.

The same DP-led crew that works the cyclorama shoots offices, plants, venues, events and exteriors across Denver and beyond, on the same written estimate.

On the stage

The 24’×30’ cyclorama, the grid already hung, makeup and craft service in the building. The All-In day is the fastest path to a finished piece because nothing has to be built or trucked in.

On location

Your office, your plant, a venue, an event, a hillside. Skytheory brings its own camera, lighting and audio packages, handles crew travel and housing when the shoot leaves town, and feeds the footage into the same post-production pipeline.

Either way, one number

Scope, crew, gear, post and delivery on one fixed estimate, whether the day happens at 3435 Wynkoop or somewhere else entirely. You choose the setting; the standard does not change.

04Who

Skytheory owns the studio other companies rent.

That one fact is why the number is fixed and the crew does not change between the scope and the color grade.

The studio is ours

Most production companies rent the room for each job and pass the markup along. Skytheory owns the stage, the grid and the cyclorama, so nothing is rented back to you.

One team, from launchpad to delivery

The people who scope the project shoot it, cut it, color it, and deliver it. Edit, sound, motion graphics, captions, per-platform formats: all of it stays in the building. You want results, not complication, so there is no second vendor and no hand-off.

An Emmy®-winning bench

The crew has produced broadcast work for Comcast. That standard does not move with the budget.

Fixed estimates

A written scope and a fixed number before the project starts. The estimate is the price.

What a project costs, and what it produces.

A focused production$10K+

One or two shoot days and a tight set of finished pieces: a launch video and its cutdowns, a brand film, a run of interviews.

  • Scope, shoot, edit and delivery on one estimate
  • Talent and casting when the piece needs it
  • Formats cut for every platform it runs on
A library or series$50K+

A multi-day, multi-camera block built to produce volume: a course, a workout catalog, a season of episodes.

  • Multi-camera capture, every angle in one pass
  • Post at scale: labeled masters and variants
  • A library you release over months, not a single spot
A campaign$100K+

One production, every asset the campaign needs. We film the hero piece and, on the same days, the portraits, cutdowns, social content and behind-the-scenes around it, so the whole launch comes out of one shoot.

  • Multiple locations, scouted and scheduled
  • Talent casting, travel and lodging
  • Live production and streaming when the campaign has a live moment

Bands describe typical scope, not a menu. Every project lands as one fixed written estimate after a free discovery call.

Move Through Yoga: over 1,000 clips from one studio block

Move Through Yoga is a Denver non-profit that brings adaptive yoga to school districts serving kids with disabilities, and its budget belongs in the classroom, not in a production company. So Skytheory built the library once: five cameras captured 125 movements from every angle in a single studio block, and post turned that block into more than 1,000 delivered clips, labeled master cuts and angle variants, a library built to carry the program from a few districts to schools across the country. A repeat client.

Sola Salons: live production for more than 30,000 stylists

A national salon franchise needed one production to serve its whole network. Skytheory ran live production reaching more than 30,000 stylists, plus portraits, themed videos and social content, all shot in ultra-HD across multiple locations. Casting, travel, lodging and on-set logistics for 25 talent were handled as one engagement.

Stepr: launch videos and the workout library for a luxury fitness machine

Stepr makes luxury stair-climbing equipment with a built-in 27-inch HD screen, so the video is part of the product. Skytheory produced the launch videos with talent and more than 60 multi-camera workouts, each shot to play on that screen and integrate cleanly with Stepr's own software.

06Questions

Denver video production, answered.

How much does video production cost in Denver?

Denver video production at Skytheory starts at $2,450 for an All-In half-day and $3,450 for an All-In full day, which covers the studio, the crew, and the gear as one number. Studio space on its own rents for $525 per five-hour half-day or $899 per day. Larger projects typically run in three bands: focused productions from $10,000, content libraries and series from $50,000, and campaigns at $100,000 and up. Every Skytheory project gets a fixed written estimate after a free discovery call, so the number approved is the number paid.

What is a content studio, and how is it different from a video production company?

A content studio is a company that owns both the physical stage and the creative team, so a client can book the room, the crew, or the whole program from one place. A traditional video production company rents a stage for each job and passes the markup to the client. Skytheory owns a 1,800 square foot stage in Denver's RiNo Arts District and staffs it with its own crew, which is why the same team can scope, shoot, and finish a project without a hand-off.

Is it cheaper to hire a production company or rent a studio and crew separately?

Renting a studio and assembling a crew separately is usually cheaper on paper and more expensive in practice, because the client absorbs the coordination, the gaps, and the overage risk. Skytheory's All-In day in Denver bundles the stage, the crew, and the gear into one fixed price, $2,450 for a half day and $3,450 for a full day, so there is one number and one accountable party. Clients who only need the room can still rent the Skytheory stage alone from $525.

Where can I shoot video in Denver?

Skytheory operates a 1,800 square foot production stage at 3435 Wynkoop Street in Denver's RiNo Arts District, about ten minutes from downtown. The stage has a pre-lit 24'×30' cyclorama wall, a lighting grid, green screen capability, and a private greenroom. It can be booked as space only, or as a fully crewed All-In shoot day.

What is a cyclorama wall and do I need one?

A cyclorama is a seamless curved wall that meets the floor without a visible corner, so the background reads as infinite space rather than a room. It is the right choice for product shots, interviews, and any footage that needs a clean white, black, or colored background without post work. Skytheory's Denver stage has a pre-lit 24'×30' cyclorama, which is wide enough to shoot multiple setups without relighting between them.

How long does a video production project take?

A single commercial or brand film at Skytheory typically runs two to four weeks from kickoff to final delivery, depending on scope and review cycles. Campaigns and multi-shoot content programs run longer. Skytheory issues a written schedule during the planning phase and holds to it, because the shoot is fully planned before the camera comes out.

What does Emmy-winning actually mean for my project?

Skytheory is an Emmy®-winning production company, and its crew has made content for Comcast. The practical result for a Denver client is a team that knows how to hit a broadcast standard on a schedule, and applies that same discipline regardless of budget size.

Can Skytheory handle just part of a project, like editing or studio space?

Yes. Skytheory takes on post-production only (edit, color, motion graphics, and sound for footage shot elsewhere) and also rents its Denver studio as space only, with or without crew. A client can hire the whole team or any single part of it.
